Yes. One of the advantages in investing in Mutual Funds is its liquidity (refer here for other advantages). You may withdraw your positions/investments anytime you desire. However, each position is subject to a holding period, ranging from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the mutual fund company you are investing.
In cases that a need arise that compels you to withdraw your funds even if it still within the holding period, you may still withdraw, however, it will be subjected to exit fees, ranging from 1% to 2% of the total funds to be withdrawn that is still within the holding period.
It is to be emphasized, however, that investors should have a long term perspective in investing in mutual funds in order to reap its full earning potential.
